On Day 5 of your sacred Do Dham Yatra, the journey continues from Guptkashi to Badrinath, covering approximately 220 km in 7-8 hours. En route, you may visit Joshimath, a spiritually significant town and the winter seat of Lord Badri.
Upon reaching Badrinath, one of the most revered Char Dham pilgrimage sites, check into your hotel and take time to rest and rejuvenate. In the evening, visit the Badrinath Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, and participate in the divine Aarti on the banks of the Alaknanda River. Before last day of your Do Dham Yatra, wake up early in the divine town of Badrinath and participate in the morning aarti at the revered Badrinath Temple. After seeking Lord Vishnu’s blessings, enjoy a hearty breakfast before embarking on the return journey to Rishikesh.
The scenic drive takes you through Joshimath, Rudraprayag, and Devprayag, offering breathtaking views of the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers merging to form the Ganga. En route, stop at Mana Village, India’s last village near the Indo-Tibetan border, to witness the famous Vyas Gufa and Bhim Pul.
